Permaculture Research Institute of Australia

Here are some images captured over the past few days of a week long Teacher Training course in Permaculture I am enrolled in at the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia.  Geoff Lawton, Director of the Institute,  student of Bill Mollison, and permaculture aid worker in many countries around the world, instructs the course.  The course addresses the fundamentals, philosophy and practical experience of teaching a permaculture design course. Students in the course come from New Zealand, Canada, Australia and the U.S, and many are part of an 8 week internship at the farm.

Following the completion of the course I will be wwoofing at Zaytuna for five additional days to get a better feel of the what’s happening on the farm.  More to come.
